The 1999 Signature Bear was the first signature bear to be released. Like all the Signature Bears, he did not include a birthday or a poem.
The 1999 Signature Bear is made from a brown color material and flecked with white. He has black button eyes and a black button nose. Around his neck is a deep red ribbon and on his chest is a red heart with “1999” and Ty’s signature stitched in white.

This bear was a personal design from Mr. Russ Berrie and was limited to 5000 worldwide. The response was amazing and from that year on Russ has released a limited edition signature bear annually. These bears are very collectible the world over and a complete collection is highly sought after. Worth 1300-1500 dollars.
